TEAM BERGERON UPDATE // DECEMBER 2025

Heather had some important blood work done recently to help determine the next steps in her chemotherapy. We’re grateful to share some good news — her blood counts looked strong, which means her medical team is moving forward with a full 100% dose of chemo. She started that higher dose today.

Please continue to keep Heather in your thoughts and prayers as she faces each step with courage. Your love and support mean so much. 💜🙏

TEAM BERGERON UPDATE // NOVEMBER 2025

Heather traveled into Boston this week for an MRI to check on her progress — and we have good news! The scan showed decreased inflammation and that the remaining tumor is less active, which is exactly what her doctors were hoping to see.

Next, Heather will begin Phase 2 of treatment: an intensive round of chemotherapy — 5 days of treatment every 28 days.

We’re so grateful for all of your love, encouragement, and prayers. Your support means the world to Heather and our family as she continues this journey. 💪💕

TEAM BERGERON UPDATE // OCTOBER 2015

With the incredible support of family and friends, Heather made it through her first six weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. The Bergeron family is beyond grateful for everyone who helped drive her to and from Boston each day, looked after the kids, provided meals and groceries, or reached out with encouragement along the way. Heather was able to ring the bell to mark the end of this first round of treatment! She now has a short break to let her body rest and recover  before her next scan on Nov 4th and the next phase of treatment. Thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers, love, and support — they mean the world.

TEAM BERGERON UPDATE // AUGUST 2025

Heather has spent the past month and a half healing from surgery.  During that time she received medical opinions from MSK Cancer Center (NY), Dana Farber, and Mass General Hospital. She has decided to switch her care to Dana Farber and will be receiving treatment in Boston. She will be receiving six weeks of radiation with chemo and then have a month break. Then the plan would be to have one week a month of chemo for 6 to 12 months.  They will then reassess. They are also looking into a drug trial that may have a spot for her.

The whole family is so grateful for the outpouring
of love and support from near and far!

Team BERGERON NEEDS OUR HELP

Hi Friends and Family,

As you may know, the Bergeron family is in need of a little extra love and support these days! Unfortunately, Heather, the superhero of the family was recently diagnosed with a glioma, a type of brain tumor, and bravely underwent surgery to have it removed. They were not able to get the whole tumor out and will now be entering treatment.  It has been determined that it’s a grade 4 tumor and there is a MRI planned for August 4th to determine the course of treatment. This is going to be a a long hard road, but she’s one tough cookie —feisty, strong, and never one to back down from a challenge! While she is out of action, fighting this cancer (and won’t be able to drive), she could really use some help.

Heather absolutely loves taking care of her four little ones—her babies—so this is a big change for her. Many of you have asked how you can support her, and we’ve come up with a way you can help that will make life a little easier. Instead of cooking meals, we’re asking for gift cards to local grocery stores or meal delivery services. This will help with food costs and free up some space for the family to focus on childcare, medical bills, and all the other things that come with recovery and treatment.

Your love, support, and prayers mean the world, and we can’t thank you enough for helping out during this time. Let’s keep Heather feeling as strong as she is!
